Website Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy covers the website www.miguapps.com: which data it processes when you visit it, what for, and which rights you have. The apps MonoBudget, MonoList and MonoMood each have their own privacy policy on their Legal page. The audience measurement described below runs only on this website, never in the apps. Last updated: September 28, 2026.

1. Controller

The controller for this website is Michael Guggenberger, Straßganger Straße 58, 8052 Graz, Austria. Email: info@miguapps.com. No data protection officer has been appointed because there is no legal obligation to appoint one.

2. Hosting and access data

When you visit this website, the web server processes technically necessary access data so that the site can be delivered, operated reliably, and protected against misuse. This may include your IP address, date and time of access, requested URL or file, amount of data transferred, status code, referrer URL, browser, operating system, and user agent. The website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, and delivered through Cloudflare's global network, usually from a data center near you. For delivery, security, support, and error analysis, Cloudflare may also use affiliated companies and subprocessors, which may involve processing outside the EU or EEA (see section 7). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of the website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is stored only for as long as required for operation, error analysis, and security, and is then deleted or anonymized unless longer retention is necessary due to a security incident or legal obligations.

3. No cookies

This website sets no cookies. The language you chose is part of the page address (German under /de), so it does not need to be stored anywhere. The only entry the website can place on your device is your choice on the switch in section 5, and only if you use it.

4. Audience measurement with Cloudflare Web Analytics

This website measures its reach with Cloudflare Web Analytics, a service of our host Cloudflare, Inc. The measurement runs only on this website; the apps contain no analytics or tracking. For it, your browser loads a small measurement script from static.cloudflareinsights.com, which sends measurement data to Cloudflare after the page view. According to Cloudflare, the service uses neither cookies nor your browser's local storage and does not fingerprint visitors from their IP address, user agent, or any other data. For each page view, Cloudflare records the page address without URL query parameters, the referrer, the country, the browser, operating system and device type, how the page was opened (for example reloaded or through the back button), and the page's load times. Cloudflare does not link this data to a person and does not track visitors across websites. We only see aggregated figures, such as how often a page was viewed and where visits came from, and use them only to understand whether and how the website is used. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in this evaluation under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Cloudflare keeps the complete measurement data for 7 days and afterwards keeps only an aggregated sample of about 10 percent.

5. Your right to object to the audience measurement

You can object to the audience measurement at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Article 21(1) GDPR). The simplest way is the switch below: it turns the measurement off in this browser, and from then on the website no longer loads the measurement script. Turning it off reloads the page once, so that a measurement already running ends right away. To remember your choice, the website stores a single entry in your browser's local storage. It contains nothing but the choice itself and stays until you switch the measurement back on or clear the website data. A content blocker works as well. You can also write to info@miguapps.com. Because the recorded data is not linked to a person, we cannot find or delete page views that were recorded earlier, but we will answer your objection.

The setting applies only to this browser on this device. Clearing the website data resets it.

6. Links to the app stores and email

The download buttons lead to Apple's App Store and Google Play. Store links may carry a marker naming this website as their source, so that the stores can show us how many visits and installs came from here; we only receive aggregated figures from them. Once you follow such a link, Apple or Google process your data under their own privacy notices. If you contact us by email, we process your email address, your message, and the related technical communication data to respond to your request. We use Apple's iCloud Mail as our email service provider. Depending on the content of the request, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where it relates to pre-contractual or contractual matters, or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in handling requests. Emails are deleted once they are no longer needed to handle the request, unless legal retention obligations apply.

7. Recipients and transfers to third countries

Recipients are Cloudflare, Inc. as hosting, CDN, and audience-measurement provider, and Apple as the provider of iCloud Mail. Both companies are based in the United States, so processing can involve a transfer of data to a third country. These transfers are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which both are certified, and on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection (see section 5 for the audience measurement). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in Austria this is the Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna. For questions about this policy, write to info@miguapps.com.

9. Changes

We update this policy when the website or the services it uses change. The version published here applies.
